July starts off with a zinger of a solar eclipse, happily not exactly opposed to Saturn or Pluto. Regardless, take very seriously the things that are nearest and dearest to your heart. Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are all retrograde. Mercury is not retrograde, yet, so enjoy the first week of the month before Mercury slows down and turns around. July starts on a Friday (the day of the week for Venus) with the Moon just slipping into super-writer-friendly Gemini. We can spend the whole darn month working and feeling good about everything and everyone. Yes, we can. Only Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are retrograde now. The other inner planets are all direct. We can let the outer world go spin its wheels as we get on with our inner lives a bit more often.

We are not lacking for excitement and entertainment this July. If it feels like eclipse season is never going to end, you’re not imagining it. We start off with a New Moon and Solar eclipse on day one, for the second month in a row. This year we get four partial solar eclipses (in January, June, July, and November) and only two lunar eclipses. Are we not entering the heart of summer? And what a summer this is going to be. Let the Sun shine in!
July 1 starts on a Thursday (Jupiter’s day) with the Moon in Pisces (traditionally ruled by Jupiter). Look forward to a month of expansion and all things big and beautiful. Remove the word “disappointment” from your vocabulary this month.
Sat Jul 03 the Moon opposes Saturn and goes void of course until it enters the sign of Aries. Criticism may sting, but not for long. The Moon then conjuncts Uranus (always bringing a fresh look at the world), then Jupiter in the sign of Aries. Feel personally lucky.
