August starts on a Saturday, Saturn’s day of the week (duh), and nicely enough Saturn goes stationary direct on August 1. Never mind that Saturn is still in the closing degrees of Scorpio and doing what it can to be a good guest in the house of Mars (or, if you rather, the house of Pluto).
