Kathy Watts to speak July 25th San Francisco Astrological Society
by Dorothy Kovach on Jul.17, 2013, under Lectures & Workshops, Traditional Astrology
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to create your very own personal astrological almanac. Astrologer, extraordinare, Kathy Watts will be teaching the fine art of forecasting, July 26th at Fort Mason, San Francisco, at 7:30pm. For more info contact: http://www.sfastrologicalsociety.com/
For those who are not familiar with our resident forecaster, here is a little about her, in her own words:
“ I’ m a native of Baltimore, Maryland who now lives in the Bay area. To be honest, though, Los Angeles “feels” like my true hometown.
“Books have played a huge part in my life. In 5th grade, a teacher brought The Stars: A New Way to See Them (by H.A. Rey) and I’ve been devotedly stargazing ever since. As a high school student, I found an astrology book with a table of planetary positions in the back of it. An ephemeris, of sorts! How great, to know where planets are going to be in sky and then to go out and see them.
“So, I got a BSc in astronomy, worked as a data tech at Goddard Space Flight Center, did engineering writing, and located earthquakes at Caltech (the Earth is a planet, too). Now I mostly write (for Horoscope.com, and for FirecrackerForum.org, http://worldastrology.net), edit, and do astrology.
On July 25, 2013, the San Francisco Astrological Society has invited me to present the talk: Creating a Personal Astrological Almanac. Come hear the nuts and bolts of doing an almanac, and how to make your own customized Heads Up for whatever is your passion in life.
