April 2019
(all times are PDT)
Happy April 1st. No joke. April starts on Monday, the Moon’s day, and we can tap into deeper feelings and instinctive hints all month long. You may want to keep your emotions on a short leash, though, as some days are more, ah, Piscean than others. On those days, go for the inspirations, and perhaps more music.
Mon Apr 01 the Moon enters Pisces early in the morning. Before the day ends, at 11:31 pm the Moon conjoins Venus. Enjoy this applying conjunction all day long. Do something nice and pretty with it.
Tue Apr 02 is a Pisces sorta day. Heads Up. Mercury conjoins Neptune in Pisces at 2:36 am. Maybe some frisky dreams. The Moon conjoins Neptune at 6:25 pm. Turn up the music. The Moon conjoins Mercury at 6:58 pm. If you’re restless, now you know why.
Wed Apr 03 the Moon n Pisces squares Jupiter at 8:36 am and goes void of course until the Moon enters Aries at 7:56 pm. Tomorrow may be a more productive day. Feel good about today anyway.
Thu Apr 04 the Moon is in Aries all day. The main thing is that tomorrow is the New Moon in Aries. Heads Up in all ways that matter most to you. Be safe and keep safe.
Fri Apr 05 we have the New Moon at 15 Ari. This happens at 1:50 am. We can sleep through it and wake up to a brighter, newer day and lunar month. It’s okay to be more frisky and ambitious. Heads Up in the best of ways.
Sat Apr 06 the Moon conjoins Uranus in Taurus at 9:09 am. Don’t get knocked off balance, especially if you’re driving. You want to get home safely and get your notebook caught up.
Mon Apr 08 the Moon enters Gemini at 2:15 pm. Heads Up for mercurial prime time from now until Wednesday evening.
Tue Apr 09 the Moon conjoins Mars in Gemini at 1:16 am. If you’re a night owl and up late writing, you might just see the sunrise. Heads Up. At 11:13 pm Venus conjoins Neptune in Pisces. Heads up. Romance writers, maybe work late. Jupiter is slow, strong, and in its home sign as it prepares to go retrograde tomorrow. What you send out into the world today could meet with extra good luck.
Wed Apr 10 the Moon is in Gemini when Jupiter turns stationary retrograde in Sagittarius at 10:01 am. Luck is not going away; it’s just moving inside to benefit less conspicuous efforts. The Moon opposes Jupiter retro at 10:27 am and goes void of course until the evening. At 8:31 pm the Moon moves on and enters Cancer. Late celebratory supper, anyone? Or maybe just a relaxing drink?
Sat Apr 13 the Moon is in Leo when the Sun squares Pluto. Heads Up. How much fire do you want in one day?
Sun Apr 14 the Moon is in Leo all day. It’s a fiery weekend. Heads Up. At 6:41 am the Sun in Aries trines Jupiter retro in Sagittarius. Be energetic but organized or you might lose the whole day. At 5:49 pm the Moon in Leo trines Jupiter retro in Sagittarius. The sky is lit up, and your social life and imagination may be, too. It looks like Palm Sunday again.
Tue Apr 16 the Moon is in Virgo all day. Mercury finally escapes Pisces and enters Aries at 11:01 pm. Heads Up for a more active mental life. Think, plan, communicate, and write with greater self-interest and abundance.
Wed Apr 17 the Moon enters Libra at 4:22 am. Even if you don’t feel great about your progress, you can make someone else feel good about something and this can help you out later. The day ends with a Moon-Mars trine at 11:46 pm. Feel gratified, tired, and be able to sleep well.
Fri Apr 19 we have the Full Moon at 29 Lib at 4:12 am. The Moon then goes void of course for about an hour and a half. Heads Up. Consider that this is the dead center of the Via Combusta. You can do some serious stuff this coming lunar month. Choose and plan wisely. At 5:41 am the Moon enters Scorpio. It’s Good Friday. At local sundown, Passover begins. It’s also the last day that the Sun spends in fiery, fierce Aries. Tomorrow the world may seem slower, stronger, and more persistent. Heads Up.
Sat Apr 20 the Moon is in Scorpio when the Sun changes signs, leaves Aries and enters Taurus. Heads Up. We’re talking about two fixed signs. This gives us the next month to dig in our heels and maybe sharpen our horns. At 9:11 am Venus changes signs, leaves misty Pisces and enters red hot Aries. Heads Up. Love and aesthetics could get aggressive if not on the war path. Be willing to fight for what you love and for what loves you.
Mon Apr 22 the Moon is in Sagittarius when the Sun conjoins Uranus in Taurus. Heads Up. It’s Earth Day. Surprise the Earth before the Earth surprises you.
Tue Apr 23 the Moon conjoins Jupiter retro in Sagittarius at 4:44 am. Spend the day making the most of a myriad little lucky breaks that normally would be overlooked.
Wed Apr 24 the Moon is in Capricorn all day. You know what you want to work on. At 11:48 pm Pluto turns stationary retrograde and stays retrograde until October 2. This may not calm things down much, but it might help. It might also delay a major change that needs to happen eventually. Regardless, keep on keeping on.
Thu Apr 25 the Moon is in Capricorn all day. At 7:33 am the Moon conjoins Saturn. Heads up for something obscure but important to finally become obvious if not easier. At 12:48 pm the Moon conjoins Pluto retro and goes void of course. Do what you know you need to do and feel virtuous rather than trapped or tricked into it.
Mon Apr 29 the Moon is in Pisces all day. At 5:54 pm Saturn goes stationary retrograde. Heads Up. (Aren’t we glad that Mercury isn’t retrograde now, too? Well maybe.) If this doesn’t ease tensions, it might at least postpone other imagined crises.
Tue Apr 30 the Moon is still in Pisces, all day. At 3:33 am the Moon conjoins Neptune. Sleep and listen to the music of the spheres. At 2:57 pm the Moon squares Jupiter retro and goes void of course for the rest of the day. Do something good with the time. Squares are good for confronting work and discouraging procrastination.
It’s spring in the northern hemisphere and everything wants to grow and be more alive. In the southern hemisphere it’s autumn and everything wants to live long enough to be productive, creative, and worthy of harvest. Write what is in your heart and see what blooms, or what produces seed for the next season.
April ends with Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all retrograde. We’ve seen this before. Retrogrades may slow down the pace but that allows more time to become more careful. Work with greater care and precision. Even without the retrogrades, Taurus encourages a slower, better anchored, more stable and sustainable pace. Write more and wobble less.
You already know that you can do it. Do it now. Heads Up!
