The Astrological Almanac for Writers

Sat Sep 12 we have the New Moon in Virgo at 20Vir. This is also a partial solar eclipse. Heads Up. The world may be preoccupied with its myriad usual woes. You are free to start a constructive, well-ordered work month. Go for it.
Tue Sep 15 the Moon conjuncts Mercury in Libra. Do your characters have enough relationship complications? You can devise more today (and their solutions, too).
Wed Sep 16 the Moon is in Libra all day. I guess we’re not having a month of Wednesdays with the Moon in fixed signs after all. At the end of day, 11:54 pm, Jupiter is opposed Neptune. This generational aspect is yet another variation on “question authority.” It’s also an aspect of learning to recognize when something is too good to be true. (I apply this to my own opinion of my own work.) It’s also the day before Mercury goes retrograde. Heads Up. Do you know where your smartphone is? It’s not too early to start serious editing efforts.
Thu Sep 17 the Moon is in Scorpio all day. That all by itself makes for an intense day. Work with added intensity. At 11:09 am, Mercury goes stationary retrograde at 15Lib. Edit, and research, with intensity. Later at 7:49 pm, Saturn changes signs, leaving Scorpio and entering Sagittarius. Saturn changing signs is always a big deal. Now we’ll have a couple of years of Saturn being the well-behaved guest in Jupiter’s house. Heads Up, hopefully in a good if gradual way.
Fri Sep 18 the Moon is conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius. It’s the day of the week ruled by Venus, too. Keep expectations to a minimum and appreciate every little thing that goes your way. Saturn likes sincere appreciation.
