Sun Jun 21 the Moon is in the final degrees of Leo when the Sun moves out of Gemini and takes up residence in Cancer. For 8 whole minutes, the Sun and Moon are in mutual reception (a guest in each other’s home sign) until the Moon moves into Virgo. Sun Jun 14 the Moon is in the final degrees of Taurus when the Sun is conjunct Mars in Gemini. Heads Up! Write those incandescent battle and knock down drag out fight scenes today. Write those horrendous quarrel scenes. When you go outside, be polite and resolve to not let anyone push any of your buttons. It’s a bad day to let your inner child play with matches. At 5:36 pm Saturn retrogrades back into Scorpio. Did you want serious? No? Here it is anyway. Heads Up. At 7:27 pm the Moon is conjunct Mercury. Heads Up. At least try to think before you speak. It’s June and summer is upon us! June 1 is a Monday with the Moon in Scorpio. We can be serious all month long about our work. And we can do it without locking ourselves away and getting out of touch with people. Writers need human contact every bit as much as the solitude to write. Don’t forget, the Sun is now in writer-friendly Gemini. And, don’t forget, Mercury is retrograde. Now that can make you more careful with your words. (continue reading…)

May 2015 (times are PDT)

The beautiful month of May starts on a Friday, the day of the week ruled by Venus. Make every day glorious and gracious, and get a ton of fantastic stuff written. Argue with that. Plus, Mercury has just entered its home sign of Gemini. Starting May 19, Mercury will be retrograde in Gemini. That can be good, and make us more careful and in less of a rush. One way or another, we have the whole month with Mercury helping us out from its home sign Gemini. Do good things with it. (continue reading…)
