Heads Up! The Astrological Almanac for June 1st-7th
by Kathy Watts on Jun.03, 2015, under Forecasts, Traditional Astrology
It’s June and summer is upon us! June 1 is a Monday with the Moon in Scorpio. We can be serious all month long about our work. And we can do it without locking ourselves away and getting out of touch with people. Writers need human contact every bit as much as the solitude to write. Don’t forget, the Sun is now in writer-friendly Gemini. And, don’t forget, Mercury is retrograde. Now that can make you more careful with your words.
Mon Jun 01 the Moon is in Scorpio for the first half of the day, entering upbeat Sagittarius shortly before noon. If frustrated in the morning, spirits will lift. At 2:21 pm the Moon and Saturn are conjunct. We can now be serious about different things, in whole new different ways.
Tue Jun 02 the Moon opposes Mercury an hour and a half after midnight. Sleep through this, unless you’re a night owl. If a night owl, read or write. At 9:10 am we have the Full Moon at 11 Sag. Heads Up in a good way. You could see some work make it out into the world (and send money in to you) this month. Make it so! Midafternoon, the Moon opposes Mars. Be in the mood to work. It’s a busy day.
Wed Jun 03 the Moon is in Sagittarius until it enters Capricorn at 5:50 pm. Today is made for working, writing, promoting and publishing. Self-publishing counts more than it used to, now that we’re in the age of ebooks and blogs.
Thu Jun 04 the Moon is conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. It doesn’t get much more serious than this. Work diligently, expect nothing, and be proud of every little achievement.
Fri Jun 05 the Moon is still in Capricorn when Venus moves out of cozy Cancer and enters the flashy high life of Leo. Maybe I should say Heads Up!, as this can sometimes get expensive. Get out your fancy upscale writer clothes, go out and look like the professional that you are.
Sat Jun 06 the Moon trines Mercury at 7:34 am. This can be good writing time if you’re a morning person. It’s good all day for chatting, networking, and of course eavesdropping.
